Whether your seasonal affective disorder has kicked in, or you’re feeling the pressure of the holiday season, chances are you could use some comfort food. And if you’ve already gone over your yearly budget, it would be even better if that food was available at a discount, or perhaps even for free.
Fortunately, the folks at Wendy’s understand that, and the fast food chain is offering the following deals to see you through the rest of 2022. Here’s what to know.
How to get a free Frosty every day next year
We’ve previously written about Wendy’s Frosty Tags, and now they’re available for purchase once again. As a recap, they cost $2, and will get you one free Jr. Frosty with any purchase. Though you’re limited to one free Frosty per visit, you can use the tag every day in 2023.
How to get free chili
Many of these deals—including this one—are only redeemable via the Wendy’s app, so if you haven’t already downloaded it, and want to take advantage of the free food, you should probably do that now.
Then you can get one small order of chili for free with any in-app purchase. The offer refreshes weekly, so if you redeem it today, and then again on the 24th and 31st, you can get three free orders of chili before the end of the year.
How to get free bacon sandwiches
To celebrate National Bacon Day on December 30, participating Wendy’s locations are giving away one free junior bacon cheeseburger with any in-app purchase, as well as a free Breakfast Baconator with any in-app purchase the following morning (12/31). This deal isn’t valid for delivery orders placed outside of the Wendy’s app.
How to get free food and other deals on delivery orders
Those who prefer to enjoy their fast food from the comfort of their own home won’t miss out on the deals. Here’s a rundown of what you can get from each app:
Wendy’s app
Get $4 off of any in-app delivery order of $20 or more.
DoorDash
On the final two Fridays of 2022 (December 23 and 30), DashPass customers can get a free Frosty of any size with any Wendy’s order of $15 or more.
Uber Eats
Today and tomorrow (12/17 and 12/18), if you order a junior bacon cheeseburger via Uber Eats, you’ll receive a second one for free.
