Photo : EQRoy ( Shutterstock ) Starting next month, if you board a Delta flight, you may no longer have to choose between exorbitant wifi fees or sheer boredom: The company has announced that passengers will be able to get free wifi on hundreds of U.S. domestic Delta aircraft starting in February. A Delta press release says the free wifi will be “on board most domestic mainline flights.” The service will be launched on more than 500 aircraft starting next month and will be available on more than 700 aircraft ( out of their 1,280 fleet ) by the end of the year , so don’t expect every flight to have the service right away. How to get free wifi on a Delta flight Once you’re onboard your flight, select the “Deltawifi.com” network in your device’s settings. You will then need to enter your SkyMiles number and password.
