If Doom Patrol exists to you only as the show you keep mistaking for The Umbrella Academy , it really is worth watching. It’s crass, over-the-top, and surprisingly touching. If nothing else, it’s one of the best queer-positive, found-family stories on TV that also features Brendan Fraser as a bronzed cyborg. The list below is fine —on Feb. 7 alone, the streamer adds two Oscar-nominated films in All That Breathes and Empire of Light, and there’s a new Harley Quinn Valentine’s Day special dropping two days later. But as I was assembling this post, word got out that Warner Bros. Discovery has canceled HBO Max Originals Doom Patrol and Titans , both more interesting than anything you’ll find on the streamer next month.
