Huh/The Associated Press Price increases moderated in the United States last month in the latest sign that the inflation pressures that have gripped the nation might be easing as the economy slows and Americans grow more cautious. Consumer inflation reached 7.7 per cent in October from a year earlier and 0.4 per cent from September, the government said Thursday. What's Going on With Binance and FTX? Will It Crash the Crypto Market?

Image
FTX has been in dire straits since the start of November 2022. After the release of Alameda's balance sheet, Binance, one of the FTT whales, decided to liquidate its FTT holdings. This led to the further decline of the value of FTT, threatening the collapse of Alameda Research and FTX. Binance, one of the early investors in FTX, received about $2 billion as part of its exit from FTX equity. The $2 billion was paid in FTT, FTX's utility token. Since the buyout, Changpeng Zhao, Binance's CEO, and Sam Bankman-Fried, FT

They are hired more easily, given higher pay, and receive lesser punishments for infractions than their less attractive counterparts. We found an analogous facial-anomaly-is-bad bias, in which people who have scars, birthmarks, and developmental differences are viewed as being less intelligent, hard-working, trustworthy, and competent (Jamrozik et al., 2017).
